    20 years ago, First United Methodist Church had a Dream for the western part of Ormond and Daytona Beach. The Gathering Place is that dream. While we have a different location and mission, First United and The Gathering Place are in ministry together.

    We own 25 acres on Williamson Blvd. We have plans to use this property not to build a traditional church building, but something to benefit our local community. Do you live in west Daytona or Ormond Beach? Give your input on future development in YOUR neighborhood.

    The Gathering Place is a new worshipping community of First United in the LPGA area. We’re one church family with two unique identities and locations. First United is located at 336 S Halifax Dr. Ormond Beach, FL 32176. We’re proud of our United Methodist connection.

We are a new community of First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, which means we’re one family with two unique identities. The Gathering Place strives to create cultures of belonging and authenticity both online and in the Daytona Beach area.
