Growth Groups

Take The Next Step

We’re here to help you connect with God and others. Some Growth Groups focus on learning, while others emphasize serving. By choosing to volunteer and participate, you can build friendships, find support, and receive encouragement.

Interested in leading a group? Email Terri Kraft at tkraft@firstunited.org for more information.

  • Monday at 10am

Morning Light meets at 10:00 at the church. Self-satisfaction and complacency could very well be a Christian's greatest enemies. These are the enemies that the apostle Paul addresses in his letter to the Ephesians.

When Paul wrote to the believers in the city of Ephesus, he wrote to remind them of their immeasurable blessings in Jesus Christ and to admonish them to live in a manner worthy of them. Paul reminds them of the spiritual armor supplied through God's Word and by His Spirit, and of their need for vigilant and persistent prayer.

Next Steps

  • Discover Hope

    Attend Consistently
Will you commit to being fully present and put God first with your time? We have two weekly services - a 9am Contemporary service and an 11am Traditional service.

Can't make it this week? You can livestream with us Sunday mornings at 9 and 11 or re-stream past services.

  • Deepen Faith

    Grow Relationally
Are you ready to join a growth group?

    Give Generously
At First United, we put God first in our finances. Countless people experience God's blessings when they tithe, but often the first step is the hardest one to take.

  • Demonstrate Love

    Serve Passionately
You can make a difference. Whether you're good with numbers, words, technology, or people, God wants to use your gifts and skills to make a difference. We have opportunities for any schedule, so just let us know where you are interested in serving.

    Share Faith Fearlessly
We're all called to share our faith. After all, someone in your life shared the truth of Jesus with you. Bring a friend to church or invite them to watch our livestream.

Serve

We Have a Place for You!

Every person in our church is called to serve and live out their Christian calling by volunteering in mission programs, local outreach, and global emergency response efforts.

MEMBERSHIP AT FIRST UNITED

Membership at First United supports your commitment to follow Christ, but joining is not required to participate in church life.

To become a member, baptism is the only requirement. We offer numerous baptism opportunities throughout the year. For information on upcoming events, sign up for our weekly email or contact Terri Kraft at tkraft@firstunited.org. Use our website’s BAPTISM REGISTRATION FORM to request a baptism date or join a scheduled baptism.

To join the church, contact Terri Kraft at tkraft@firstunited.org.

We encourage members to engage in at least one of our five key disciplines of faith: attending consistently, growing relationally, serving passionately, giving generously, and sharing faith fearlessly. Before joining, complete a spiritual gifts inventory and commit to one of these disciplines.

We look forward to welcoming you to the First United family!

“At First United, we create places and spaces for people to connect with God and each other where they discover hope, deepen faith and demonstrate love through a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.”
