We welcome you to First United Methodist Church and are delighted you are considering putting roots down within our church community. We’re proud of the Methodist tradition and would like to share it with you. The hearts of our congregation are immeasurable in serving where there’s a need, reaching out to others, connecting with God and others, growing spiritually and worshipping each week to provide a warm, God-loving community. We are blessed to have so many dedicated people who truly are led and guided by the Spirit of God.

As with any organization or church, we need a purpose to accomplish the work of our Lord. First United Methodist Church’s purpose statement is simple and straightforward:

“We exist to be an authentic Christian communi ty, inviting and developing people to be fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.”

If you’re feeling now is the time to make the commitment for some life changes in seeking a deeper relationship with God and growing spiritually at First United, give us a call! We offer a short new members class at different times three to four times per year. Although the class is optional, we highly recommend attendance as it gives us the opportunity get to know you better!! It’s a fun, informative orientation where we learn and share life’s experiences and witness the love of Jesus together.
